When as Christians we publicly criticize or make fun of other Christians’ theology does that make the Gospel of Christ weaker?
Does poking fun at others’ beliefs, that we do not agree with, make it easier for us to be accepted by those that don’t believe at all? Is it right?
Does it really matter? What do you think? Does it make the gospel weaker? Stronger? No change at all?

What weakens the Gospel is wasting our time harassing and hating anyone. It weakens us when we don’t use our time to grasp agape love and then practice it. No, I don’t like “fundies” but I also walk a different path that incorporates love of each other and love of the earth. Oh and remember folks-I have to love you, I don’t have to like you.
For some reason when I read the title I thought it said “weekend gospel” so I was expecting something different. Haha. Anyway, no, I don’t think it is possible to weaken the gospel. It is life. It is, however, possible to be a poor representative of the gospel. I should note, though, that those who stray from the foundational truths of the gospel should be openly criticized so as not to lead people astray. Jesus is the only way to eternal salvation and those who say or even infer otherwise present a false gospel.
Oh Maranda, I miss your wisdom.
