My name is Rand and I ramble. This is my personal blog and a small reflection of my mind. I mainly write about my life and a pretty wide diversity of topics that interest me. You will see posts about music, television, God, American Idol, life, Apple, social media and whatever comes to mind. I was born in Puerto Rico from an American Dad and a Puerto Rican Mom and moved to Dallas five years ago.So stick around, have fun and let me know about you... 
Who am I?
My name is Rand Duren and I ramble. This blog is mainly about stuff that I like and want to share with others, isn’t that what a blog is supposed to be? Maybe, I really haven’t looked for the actual definition of the word. Let me check… Ok, here it is, a blog or web log: a shared on-line journal where people can post diary entries about their personal experiences and hobbies. So, now that the definition of a blog is out of the way we can go into further explaining what I blog about.
I am into entertainment, so many of my blogs will be about things like which film got the Box Office this week, how many records did Kelly Clarkson sell, film and TV show reviews and similar things. I love art in basically all its forms so that’s a topic I expect to be covering here.
I also travel quite a bit so I will be blogging about my trips as well. I have had the opportunity to visit Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Israel, New Zealand, Colombia, Brazil, Peru and Canada and am looking forward for many more trips to come.
I’m originally from Puerto Rico, I was born and raised in that beautiful Island but am currently located in Dallas, Texas. My mom is Puerto Rican and my Dad is American so basically I’m a half Cracker, half Boricua. No offense. I will also blog about memories from my island and things to bring some nostalgia to Puerto Ricans who live away. Another thing I blog about is spirituality, I do not enjoy talking about religion but I have experienced God’s touch in my life and have a desire to bless others with those experiences. I am a follower of Christ, I follow his teachings and am amazed of what he has done in my life. I believe that some of the struggles I’ve had and have will at some point be a blessing to others. So that’s why I will share some of that as well.
I’ve been a Mac convert for a bit more than three years. First I got an iPod and fell in love with their Customer Service and then someone gave me a Macbook Pro and have loved Apple even more since then. I got an iPhone last year and it’s one of the best things I have spent money on. I will be blogging about Apple news and iPhone apps some times if anything is really worth mentioning and if the media hasn’t saturated it yet.
There are two main areas here that I try to blog about at least once a week:
5 Random Rambles: On here I blog about 5 other websites or blogs that have grabbed my attention and share them as my rambles every now and then.
Clip of the Week: I also try to find a video that has really made me laugh and share it here.
