Allergies Suck!
October 23rd, 2009 by Rand received CommentsI’ve been dealing with allergies for most of my life. Sometime when I home I don’t really mind them, I actually enjoy the sneezing sometimes when I’m at home. Crazy, I know. But I hate how allergies can and have become a hindrance in my life. As part of my job I have to be in constant communication with people and it sucks to do that when your eyes and nose are itching and you have to be holding back your sneezing.
A few months ago I visited an Ear, Nose and Throat Doctor who after checking me up told me that I have a deviated septum, he dis a CAT Scan of my whole head and to no one’s surprise told me I have sinus problems. Ha! Well, my option was to get my septum straightened but even after this he said that I would still have to keep taking medications. So, what for? If I’m going to keep taking medications u rather not have a knife cutting throught the inside of my nose. Graphic, I know.
So, here I am, another day drugged up having to call in to work, laying in bed waiting for the allergies to die. I was checking Allergy Specialists and may visit one next week.
My friend Liz recommended using a neti-pot to flush my sinuses and even though te effects don’t last long in my case, it’s a wonderful feeling, I recommend it if you have allergy/sinus problems.
Anyway, I wanted to do a quick blog to see how Posterous connects with my website and all this came about.
Stay tuned.
