I consider myself a “people” person.

When I used to live in Puerto Rico, around 4-5 years ago I has a pretty active social life.

I would go out with friends pretty much everyday of the week.

I was a Youth Leader, so I was with the Youth all the time.

All the time.

I got burned out.

I needed a break.

I moved to Dallas and decided to spend some time by myself and rest.

Instead of simply resting I became anti-social.

I have friends but I don’t go out a lot.

I think it’s good to be alone some times.

But…

I went from one extreme… to the other.

That’s not good.

Life was not meant to be lived alone.

This is going to change.

Hey…I'm a new follower and very much understand what you are saying. For me though it has been a few years, but I don't know how to change this. Let us know what you do to break away from this type of behavior. I look forward to hearing more.

I'm going to buy new friends!

Kidding, I'm going to think more of the value of fellowship and being with people, something that even Twitter is showing me, I'm going to do what I do on Twitter but in real life.

I have to remember that I have gone through stuff that can be of help to others and that others can do the same for me.

I want to do little things that will allow me to meet people, go places even by myself and talk to strangers, this will be a hard thing because at first I am kinda serious but then, let's just say that I become Awesome! haha!

Thanks for encouraging me to think!

i love this perspective. and you are so right on! we all have something to offer. it would be a shame to withhold that from others too.

im stoked for you. not only will you bless people…you'll be blessed too.

        now…go be awesome :)
