Well this is something you don’t read every day. Two men armed with swords, rope and a body bag were arrested Tuesday near Joss Stone’s home in England under suspicion of planning to rob and kill the young singer, according to reports.
Who, I mean WHO would dare touch my favorite barefoot pothead singer? WHO!? I love Joss stone!
These two guys had aerial photos and detailed maps of the Joss’ property. Sounds to me that someone may have hired these two bums to kill her. Who wants her money? Or did she break someone’s heart?
Kathy Perry is putting out some great videos. Her video for her song ET was visually stunning and really made me love the song more, minus Kanye. I just don’t think his part on the song is solid. Now, Katy has brought the big guns, for her song Last Friday Night she has brought together the likes of Corey Feldman, Debbie Gibson, Kenny G, Hanson, Kevin McHale and Darren Criss from Glee AND Rebecca Black, who looks pretty and very charming on the video. This can be a very good thing for Rebecca, after this I can actually see her doing some comedy, charming I tell you.
The video is a comedic throwback to the 80′s, a teen party gone wild with lots of symbolism for that time. Even though the song is not the best one on Katy’s album, the video, and the marketing, brings it to a very good place. For more than a week, Katy has been promoting her alter ego, who is the star of the video, Kathy Beth Terry on Twitter. Kathy has been established as “that girl”, the nerdy girl with the braces who crushed on celebrities and had her room covered in posters of teen heartthrobs. Overall, I think the video hits the mar. Funny and makes the song better than it actually is.

If you follow American Idol as I do, you may have heard comparisons between James Durbin and season 8′s runner up, Adam Lambert. Since the beginning of the season this has been a constant topic of war conversation on twitter between fans of both. Other than reaching high notes, I don’t think they are too much alike. It got to the point that, allegedly, James Durbin blasted Adam Lambert in some interviews after Adam said in an interview that he was “kind of over James” in the competition. So, last night , in a surprise to many James Durbin decided it was time to play nice and… on Twitter. Read how the conversation went below. I don’t know what to make of it, it seems a bit needy. The rumor started with a tweet from a Florida radio station that stated the following:
“Uhhh not sure if this is out yet but a little birdie just told us that @adamlambert has recorded a song with Christina Aguilera. ”.
I, for one, I’m looking forward to this, hopefully it’s true.
Coldplay just released their new song Every Teardop is a Waterfall today. It has a good sound… but it sounds very… coldplay-ish. Anywho that’s their thing.
