City Life? Options, options, options…

I live in Dallas, not exactly downtown but about ten minutes from it. Today, I’ve been thinking about living in the city, I really don’t like Dallas but something tells me that I would enjoy it more if I lived and worked downtown. A friend of mine confirms this. But I feel like I’m done with Dallas, I would like to move to another city, the main problem with doing this is that unless I have secured a job in any of them, finances are going to make it hard, way hard.

But, here are some of the cities that I think I would enjoy living in…

Dallas

New York City

Seattle

San Francisco

Chicago

Los Angeles

Orlando

I have lived in Suburbia for my entire life, and only recently have I been spending a lot of time in downtown Atlanta. I have to say… I LOVE it. I would love to actually live within walking distance of everything I need. That being said… Atlanta, although not on your list, is a great city. NY is super-expensive. Not sure about the others.

Here's a cool resource to see what you would need to make in whatever city you are in to maintain the same standard of living: http://cgi.money.cnn.com/tools/costofliving/cos…

Awesome, Gonna look into that. Yes, I guess that NYC may be more feasible
when I'm already up and running on some of the plans I have.

I don't live in Chicago but I spend ALOT of time there and have friends and family that live there. It's an amazing city with lots of different neighborhoods that are all a different style. There are some inexpensive areas too. It's a clean city too and has great public transportation. Definitely my first choice when it comes to big cities.
