It’s been almost three years since my Dad last came to visit me in Dallas. We were talking the orther day on the phone and I invited him and we quickly planned it, so he is coming this Wednesday. I am really lloking forward to spending some time with him. We are really close but the last time I visited Puerto Rico I didn’t get to spend too much time with him so i am really looking forward to spending a good amount of time with him. He will be here for about 5 days. In my life my Dad has taken me to many places and I am always amazed of how intelligent he is and how good his advice also is. As I get older, 27 now, I realize more and more how the advice he has given me throughout all these years has been great. Sometimes now I do things that when I think about them I realize that I am acting on that advice given many years ago. I always think it is funny when people tell you that you will understand things at a further extent when you are older and how advice from grown ups is so important, but it is funny that when we are younger we do not want to hear that, rendering it inadecuate for our current situations. All that to say, I am excited to have my father here for a few days, we get along great and I will take him to places with great food.
In other family related news, my brother Danny wrote me a letter this week. He is currently in prison in Puerto Rico. He is doing good, got a new tattoo of our little brother’s name. He is expecting to be transferred to a prison with a better rehabilitation center soon, so if you can keep him in prayers I will appreciate it. That’s it for now. Adios.
