Don’t You Hate It When…

Don’t you hate it when a great day becomes a crap fest? I do. And most of the time it’s my own fault, I choose things that develop into a not so wonderful crap fest. Every second of the day we hold in our hands the ability to make the right or wrong choices, choices that will make our day awesome… or awful.

Personally, I wish I was wiser, stronger and more conscious when making decisions. I believe boredom and being tired are some of my worst enemies. I think this is something I desperately need to learn and engrave on my mind. I always forget it at the worst moments.

So, this is a personal reminder for myself:

Rand, get to know yourself and in which moments you are more susceptible to making bad choices. When you see those scenarios lurking around, run, do something else. If you are bored, go out and do something fun. If you are tired, take a good nap. If you are lonely, call a friend. If you feel like you are going to fall, run away, and be fast.

Much Love,

Rand

  • I am the same way. I tend to make decisions, and then ask myself what the heck I was thinking. It has gotten me into trouble! Someone once said that at any given moment, each of us are only a few bad decisions away from complete disaster. I think that's true.
  • Yeah man, I think that's true as well. Oh well, thank God for mercy and new
    beginnings. :)
