Isn’t it crazy how technology has made us so accessible?
I mean, there are so many ways that people can contact us through now. There was a time when if you wanted to talk to someone you had to see them face to face. Now, there is such a huge number of ways to contact others. This can be both bad and good, bad because I believe it can lose that personal touch and tone that a face to face conversation has. But good, because you can communicate basically at any time, no matter how far away that person is, not only that, you can get to know people that you may have never known in person. For example I have met some incredible people on Twitter and it has developed into communication with them through other mediums. Not only that, but thanks to the iPhone we have access to all these services all the time. Technology even allowed my best friend who is currently in New Zealand to ask his girlfriend who is in Dallas if she wanted to marry him. Unusual? Yes, but pretty awesome as well. Thank you, Skype.
